To provide account-based features and save your search settings, we collect and store:

• Account Profiles: Your display name, email address, and an anonymous Firebase UID when you authenticate via Google Sign-In.
• Search History: Your capped search database (latest 20 scans) is synchronized securely to our servers so you can access it across your devices.
• Credits & Scans Balance: The number of remaining scans and referral coupon status.
• Local Preferences: Settings like Dark Mode theme configurations are saved locally on your device's sandbox storage.

4. Server Processing & Internet Connection

The app uses your internet connection to process video searches, verify authentication tokens, sync profiles, check daily ad caps, and award coupon benefits. All transmissions between the app and our database are encrypted via secure HTTPS (SSL/TLS).

5. Information the App Does Not Access

• No background location tracking (GPS location data)
• No contact list or address book reading
• No raw file storage access (other than private app sandboxing)
• No device sensor access (camera, microphone, or Bluetooth)

6. Permissions and Device Access

The app requires the following primary permissions:

• Internet Access (android.permission.INTERNET): To fetch product details and sync profiles.
• Advertising ID Access (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID): Utilized by the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display advertisements and record rewards.

• Maintain your user account and sync search history.
• Validate daily ad limitations and grant free scans.
• Process referral benefits for the 'Invite Friend' system.

8. Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information. We integrate reliable third-party SDKs that may collect data under their own policies:

• Google Firebase Authentication: Manages secure login credentials.
• Google AdMob: Collects device identifiers and Advertising ID to serve ads and analyze performance.
• Affiliate Partners (Amazon & Flipkart): Clicking purchase links redirects you to shopping sites using affiliate tracking parameters.

9. Data Retention and Deletion (GDPR & Play Store Compliant)

We provide a clear and direct method for you to delete your personal data:

• You can permanently delete your account and profile at any time directly in the app via Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account.
• Upon confirmation, all personal identifier data (display name, email), search logs, and coupon statistics are immediately and permanently erased from our MongoDB servers and Firebase Authentication.
• To prevent credit exploitation, your anonymous Firebase UID (without any link to personal information or emails) will be retained in a secure registration ledger.

We employ industry-standard cloud security practices, database firewalls, and HTTPS protocols to safeguard your account records and query details.

11. Children's Privacy

ReelFinder is a general-audience application and does not knowingly target or collect personal information from children. Our integrated ad providers are configured to respect Google Play's family policies.
